Our children’s ministries are led by Randy Billings, who says “We are teaching that God’s Word is living and applies to us today. We are teaching children to be examples to those around them.”

As the Scripture teaches, “Let no one despise your youth; instead, you should be an example to the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity. 1 Timothy 4:12

Billings adds, “We are excited to have the privilege of teaching children and we have teacher training classes to better prepare ourselves to teach children.”

Billings wants children and their parents to understand that God has blessed us by providing this special book of life instructions – the Bible  (read 2 Timothy 3:15-17).

He asks children to bring their Bible to church, noting “We provide opportunities and training to use the Bible all year! We want children learn to trust God all the time (Proverbs 3:1-6) and we encourage each family to study God’s word together at home. Review the lesson with your child each week by asking about the story your child heard. Ask how we can do what God wants.”

God’s Word is important for teaching us how to live yet so few take the effort or time to study it. How do you learn about God’s greatest gift? How do you work on your relationship with God? God’s Word will give guidance on living out your faith.

The world is always interacting with you. How do you know how to react to those interactions? The world’s desire is to take you away from a relationship with God. No amount of discipline, exercises, training, or workouts can keep you in shape for the spiritual battle that is going on around you without the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Study God’s word every day. Pray & praise all the way.

Together we equip, prepare, and train others in truth about faith and eternity?

There is true value when we connect with each other and God.

Don’t miss out on an opportunity to hear and experience God’s gifts and presence through your church.

Until His return He sent the Holy Spirit to guide and provide so we would not face the world alone.

April 2025 at Living Word

Remember Me”, was it a request, suggestion, or something much more? We are all designed with a plan and purpose. Our goal is to make sure we remember and teach our children that Jesus is real and He loves us. God provided a plan for salvation because of His love for each of us. Open your ears, eyes, and heart, grow in what you know as you allow your relationship to grow with Jesus as your Savior.

Jesus defeated death so we don’t need to focus on that. We need to celebrate the resurrection and love God has for each of us. Thank God for sending Jesus to take your place in the payment for sins and preparing a place for you in the Kingdome

April 6 It was a very special super as HE shared His last meal and shared God’s plan of salvation even though He knew one would betray and another reject in a very short time. Matthew 26:17-30; Luke 22:19; 1 Corinthians 11:17-29; John 3:17; Romans 5:8. The Passover meal was a special time. They would eat unleavened bread because they were to leave before the bread had time to rise, they remembered the lamb and the blood over the door post that showed their faith and protected them from death. This time it was much different, the Lamb was the Son of God, His blood would bring Life Forever More.

April 13 Do you love those moments of peace and quiet? How about when you have an overwhelming urge to praise God? The stage was set for the price to be paid and the crowd was praising and shouting. A time would come with no obstacles, squabbling or turmoil, and there will be eternal peace forever more but now The King was on a donkey.  Zechariah 9:9. Triumphal entry, Jesus the promised Messiah and Savior. Matthew 21:1-11; Mark 11:1-11; John 3:17; 12:12-19; Luke 19:28-40; 22:19. Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the highest!

April 20 Abandoned, beaten, mocked, spit on. Dead or alive? A piercing can cause death or allow miracles to take place. Just thinking about the piercing that took place over 2000 years ago. Those piercings allowed the blood to flow and everything that blocked me from being in the presence of God to be removed. With Christ death, He took my sins upon Him. Thankful that my God is alive and well today. Each one of us are one heartbeat away from earthly death but it is the relationship with Jesus that determines what happens next. HE is alive, we do not have to wait for the stone to roll away. Past, present, future, Jesus died to pay the penalty for all my sins but Jesus is alive. Matthew 26:36-28:10; John 3:17; Romans 6:23 Make Him your Lord today.

April 27 All the Bible tells of God’s plan of salvation through His Son Jesus. They knew about Him but did not know. Two men on the road to Emmaus Luke 22:19, 24:13-35; John 3:17; Isaiah 53:5. They left Him for dead and gone. Little did they know He was there in the beginning, He was still there in the present, and He had just paid the price to make our future forevermore in God’s Kingdom. God’s salvation is a gift that every person needs, they just need to receive and open it. Reflect on your faith. Are you ready and willing to share the Gospel with someone who needs to hear it.

Don’t be chicken, hop to it and share the gifts God has given you to share His Love.

Wednesday evenings middle & high school students are invited to learn about God’s Revelation to us.

We can learn so much from studying Gods word. Many have a life filled with family problems, conflict, and drama and circumstances that look overwhelming. We are not designed to just survive them. God’s plan is for people to grow in a relationship with Him and overcome them. God does not always remove our hardships but He does equip us to rise up and fly high over them. Rise up and overcome God is at work and Jesus has paid the way. God has plans for you just as He did others all those years ago. Open you g
