November 2022 at Living Word
You could be part of a perfect plan. Have you ever taken time to think about how you relate to the world around you? Your choices do matter. Where do you gain the understanding to make the proper choices no matter what is happening around you? There is a difference in having knowledge of what is taking place and the wisdom to know the proper response.
Are you worried or concerned? You need to be sober minded and watchful because your adversary is seeking to devour. However, you can cast your anxieties aside because there is One who has the power to restore, confirm, strengthen and establish you forever more. (1 Peter 5:6-11)
You have great abilities and talent to honor and serve God. How do you plan to gain a better understanding of how to put them to use? God is able and willing to help us in our choices, training, and resources. We can always trust God to do what is best.
November 6 What kind of dreams do you have. Do you know what they mean? Do you dream of personal ambitions or how God can use you? People can develop and use their abilities and talents in ways that please and honor God. Genesis 41:1-36; 1 Corinthians 15:58; Proverbs 3:5. People can honor God by what they do. Joseph was able to explain two dreams. Joseph knew his ability came from God and gave the glory and honor to Him. Don’t take credit for the great things that God has done in, through, and for you.
November13 We need a plan not only to survive the events but to weather the aftermath! Fires, floods, earthquakes, hurricanes, tornadoes, tsunamis, and life in general can have destructive patterns and catastrophic results. How do you know what to prepare for? Where do you get your help? People can learn about and recognize God’s authority. Genesis 41:28-57; Proverbs 3:5; Joseph helped pharaoh prepare for what was to come. You can listen to God and do what God says. How can your actions and words point others to Christ?
November20 Is the risk too great? How do you plan to take on the challenging events? What method are you using to make responsible choices because you are responsible for your choices? Genesis 37; 41:53-42:38; Matthew 5:42; Proverbs 3:5 God forewarned and told them to prepare for hard times. Joseph used the gifts God gave him to help his family and those around him. Do you hear the warnings of today? How do you choose to help?
November 27 Forgiving others is not an easy thing to do. What does love mean to you? Where are you looking for love? People can learn to love others as God loves them. Genesis 43-45; Colossians 3:13; Proverbs 3:5. God used a bad event to save many people from suffering and death. Joseph gave up the desire and the power he had to punish instead Joseph forgave his brothers. Think about the work of God in your life and the lives of those you love. Is there anyone you need to forgive or ask forgiveness from? We can honor God when we love and forgive others
