May 2021 at Living Word Clear the spot – We are all exposed. There are different beliefs, confusing facts, distracting truths. Sometimes it is great to learn new things but not always. How do you guard you mind? How do you gain true understanding? Growing season is here. Understand you will not always get your way. Commitment is required. Have you considered the options? Have you setup your growing space? When and where is danger the greatest? Focus energy & time on the important issues. What do you plan to grow? Do not stand by quietly and allow failure to take place because of your negligence or disinterest. Warning – know your behavior and performance can help or hurt the growth. Avoiding preparing, research, and training just delays the problem and may even make things worse. 1st you must decide you want growth to take place. Then take action. May 2 Where do you put your trust? God trains His children. Don’t forget the teachings, use them as a guide. Proverbs 3:1-21; Hebrews 12:4-12; 2 Timothy 1:3-10 May 9 Honor your mother. Exodus 20:12; Deuteronomy 5:16; Proverbs 10:1; 23:22-25. Isaiah 66:13-14; Matthew 15:3-6; Ephesians 6:1-3 May 16 What do you really want? Make decisions based on God’s perfect will. Proverbs 10:1 ; 22:1,6,8,15; 24:1-4; Romans 12:2; 1 Samuel 1:9-28 May 23 Do your homework. You need to learn and practice the 3R’s from birth so when you are older enough you can learn 3 more r’s at school. Responsible – you should know and do what is expected of you. Romans 14:12-13; Resourceful – Able and ready to take on projects that others would discard or overlook. 1 Thessalonians 4:11-12. Respectful – Honoring the authority God places in your life 1 Thessalonians 5:12-24 May 30 Who was your favorite teacher? Did they inspire you to work harder to achieve benchmarks? Paul taught Peter – Acts 1:8; Galatians chapter 2- Mentors and teachers help us evaluate & reach our potential. Just make sure their & your relationship with God provides the right guidance. Accept – Romans 14:1-4, 13-19 – Do not allow opinions to define you or others, look past differences and focus on God’s plan. We accomplish a great deal when working together with the Holy Spirit. God did not design you to live life or do this on your own. He provides us opportunities to serve in His Kingdom. God accomplishes amazing things when we allow Him to empower and guide us. Each person who comes in faith to Jesus Christ receives a gift from the Holy Spirit. Each person must choose to open and use the gift to receive the blessings of the gift. The Basic Instruction Before Leaving Earth is full of examples on how to and how not to. There is a Real God you can talk to no matter what time of day or night. Reach out to Him and build a relationship.
