July 2022 At Living Word – God Loves and Provides
Just because we have the freedom to disagree does not mean we should continually argue with each other. You are not required to support all choices and actions but you are called to respect. Refuse to focus on the shortcomings of those around you and focus on what God is calling you to. God wants people to be involved in His work. Respect those God has placed in your life. Jesus showed love and grace are you a reflection of His love? Pray you never get what you deserve instead accept God’s gift.
There is a True Love available to everyone but not everyone has a concern and care for all people. You can find documented proof of care, discipline, and provision through the Bible to remind us of who God is and His plan to make us part of His family forever. With Bible study, prayer, and guidance of the Holy Spirit we learn to trust God as our ultimate provider and become true followers of His plan for us.
July 3 The earth is designed to support life not because it holds oxygen and water but because God placed it in the sweet zone. Not to close and not to far away from the sun so the temperatures do not cook or freeze us. God created the amazing world we live in – Genesis 1-3; Psalm 104:24; 138:5 – God spoke the world into existence from nothing
July 10 Think about the goals you want to accomplish. Determine if they fit in God’s plan then ask God to guide you in the steps to accomplish them. God has concern and care for all people – Numbers 27:12-22; Deuteronomy 34:5-9; Joshua 1:1-9; Philippians 4:19; Psalm 138:5 – God provides for people. God will provide you courage and strength so you can be bold in sharing the Gospel
July 17. What do you do when you are afraid? You are not alone. God is all powerful and in control of all things – 1 Kings 19:1-18; Nahum 1:7; Psalm 138:5 God has power to protect people. God protects Elijah.
July 24 What news do you share? Why do you choose to share what you do? God loves and values people around the world, when is the last time you shared that? – Jonah 1-4; 1 John 1:9; Psalm 138:5 – God shows love for people and will forgive. God sent Jonah to Nineveh so people would have a chance to repent.
July 31 Do you know anyone who still writes thank you notes? What great thing has God done for you? God is Holy, have you thanked Him? – Psalm of thanks Psalm 138 – God is worthy of praise and thanks.
God is our ultimate provider. His provision goes way beyond just money. He provides us with physical life, eternal life, relationships, security, and so much more. Everything that we have and everything we are is a direct result of God’s provision. Are you properly using the gifts He has given you?
Ephesians 2:8-9; John 3:16; Romans 5:8; 2 Corinthians 5:21; 1 Peter 3:18
