December 1 Angels spoke to Mary & Joseph – Luke 1:26-38; Matthew 1:18-24. God planned for Jesus to be born from the beginning of time. We can take comfort knowing God is trustworthy and will carry out His plans and promises.
December 8 Mary visits Elizabeth – Luke 1:39-56 – Nothing is impossible with God. Jesus is the Messiah and Savior that was foretold of. Even unborn babies give Jesus praise. What is receiving your praise and worship?
December 15 Jesus was born – Luke 2:1-20; Matthew 1:21 – Jesus was born as God had planned. Jesus had humble beginnings. Born outside of a comfortable home. The Word became flesh and God was with us.
December 22 Simeon & Anna saw Jesus – Luke 2:21-38; Isaiah 7:14 – The birth of Jesus fulfilled the prophecies of the Old Testament. God’s Spirit revealed the Scripture was fulfilled. The Messiah was on earth. We may not be able to physically see and hold Jesus in our arms but we can make Him visible to others as we proclaim Him as our Messiah.
December 29 God protected Jesus – Matthew 2; Luke 2:40 – Jesus grew according to God’s plan.

December 29 Aren’t all religions the same? Isaiah 44:6-11; John 14:5-7 – Christianity is unique because it is built on a relationship. You become part of the family not a member of a religious group.
