August 2020 at Living Word.
Times may be different for you but God is still in control. However, He gives you the choice to follow Him or the world. What do you do for comfort in trying times?

Many are doing home schooling and learning events. Does your time include daily Bible study? Keep in mind your relationship with God is the most important one you will ever develop. Remember your pastor and church is a great support and resource. On line or in person open God’s Word fellowship with believers and Grow in what you Know allowing God’s Love to show in your life.

God’s Word is alive and active. It tells us the opportunity to enter into God’s blessings and love is now. We do not need to allow the world to distract us. Life is not built on beauty standards, complements, daily likes on social media, material things, money, personal achievements, or success at work or world. Seek the rest only He can provide.

Everything is uncovered and nothing can be hidden. God’s Word is sharper than a double edge sword. The Word can penetrate and separate the joints, marrow, spirit and soul from each other. Attitudes and thoughts are laid out for judgement by the Word. Therefore, you should be using the Word to grow in what you know. Use the Word know & show who God is. The Word is useful for correcting, equipping, teaching, training, and rebuking, God’s word is a lamp to light the path as we go through life one step at a time. The Word of God stands forever. Matthew 24:35; 2 Timothy 3:16-17

Worship the 1 who is The Rock of your salvation. Psalm chapter 95 & chapter 100. God created and designed you for a purpose do not harden your heart against His plan. His faithfulness is always there for you. Only you can separate yourself from God’s love.

I believe … Hold on firmly, do not allow deceitfulness lead to unbelief. His Word is true. The promise still stands. What are you holding on to? Isaiah 40:6-8; Hebrews 3:7-14

R U listening? What do you hear? What example are you following? Psalm 1; Hebrews 4:7-13 Remember nothing is hidden from God.

Do you play peek-a-boo in your life? R U hiding when you should be seeking? Spend time in the Word -Isaiah 55:6-11 – Look for the unseen – 2 Corinthians 4:14-18

What do you rely on? Live your life one step at a time by following the Light. Commands can make you wise. Precepts are for preserving and providing understanding. Statutes are for meditating and pondering. Psalm 119:89-112. What would be your statement in vs 92?

Keep in mind what you believe will make an eternal difference in your life. Have you made firm plans for where you will be in 100 or 1000 years from now? If you are still able to read this it is not to late to make a firm positive commitment for your future.

Matthew 6:5-34; 2 Corinthians 4:1-18; 2 Timothy 3:12-17;4:1-5. Don’t spend all your time looking at what you can see. Instead look at what you can’t see. What can be seen only last a short while. What can’t be seen will last forever.

Pray- Matthew 6:vs 6 Pray to your father who is unseen. Vs 9-13 Jesus gives the example of how to pray. Pray praising, Pray seeking God’s will, Pray asking (for 2 things your daily needs and forgiveness), Pray forgiving others, Pray for deliverance and protection
