January 2019 at Living Word

Don’t spend another moment doing without. Without hope – Many people struggle and think they have no hope for things to get better. Without God- without God we have no hope. God has not forsaken us, but many have forsaken Him. Without covenant- a covenant is a solemn promise. God made a covenant to bless His people. Without Christ – we all need a Savior. Without Jesus – we are separated from God. Without Grace – Jesus Christ allows us to experience God’s GRACE. Without citizenship- We are invited to be part of God’s Kingdom forever more. Without a plan- God has plans for you. Seek His will, study His word, and take time this year to be still and see what He has for you. Decide that this year you would rather have God’s presence over anything else, reach for it, & open it!

Don’t hold it back, give it to them. Joseph gave it to his brothers after they hurt him deeply and separated him from his family. Jesus gave it to the mob and soldiers who had Him crucified. Forgiveness can be a hard thing to give. He gave it and so should you. Luke 23:23-25, 34, 43, 46; 24:44-47

What do you want to gain in the new year? Don’t worry over material things work on the relationships. It is not about presents but it is about living a life to be in His presence, Romans 3:22-24; John 1:1-5; 10:10; Romans 5:8-10; Ephesians 5:8; Romans 10:9-11
