February at Living Word
God will deliver us through pain and suffering. God is willing to deliver us to Himself. We have to just quit holding on to our desires and seek His.
Why is it that people do not value what they have until they lose it? God has given each of us something special. Are we using it the way God intended us to?
The Bible gives stories of people who knew about pain, suffering, making mistakes, & serving God. It also tells of One who loved us enough to die for us. God then sent the gift of the Holy Spirit to all who would receive, to guide & protect us. Follow the guide.
What do our words & behavior reveal about our heart?
Bad things come at us. We must stand up & choose God’s standards over our own desires. Practice self control. Don’t take advantage of others. Seek God’s will.
