What makes you angry, happy, or sad? True joy & happiness comes when you are not the center of your life! Do achievements, clothes, contest, friends, events, money, or sports determine your level of happiness? Sometimes we let the good things and good times become our god. The growing season is here. It is time for you to grow in your understanding the power of the Holy Spirit and God’s plan for salvation through Jesus Christ. How do you view the Bible? The Bible is the true Word of God. Psalm 119:160; 2 Peter 1:21 tells us that “men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.” “All Scripture is inspired by God” (2 Timothy 3:16). How you respond to the Word is a very important part of your growth process. Find ultimate joy by following God’s plan for your life. Live your life following His plan not yours. The best resource you will ever find is God and the Word He has given us.

3-2- What do you want to be when you grow up? Are using the Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth as your guide? It is different than any other book you will ever read. The message is for each of us. John’s purpose was to prepare the way of the Lord. John taught about Jesus and baptized people who came in response of the Good News. Luke 3:1-22; John 1:29-34; Psalm 119:160; Acts 2:38; 2 Timothy 3:16. The Bible tells us that Jesus was baptized. John said, “Jesus is the Son of God.” John 1:34. Allow John’s excitement about Jesus to stir fresh excitement in you as you share the good news with others.

3-9- The Holy Spirit guides people to learn about God’s plan of salvation. Phillip taught about Jesus. Acts 8:26-40; 2:38. Plasm 119:160. The man had traveled 200 miles to worship God, although the Ethiopian could read the scroll of Isaiah he had acquired, he could not understand it. He wondered about the humiliated man to whom justice was denied in Isaiah 53. Who was this man? People use the Bible tell others about Jesus. Philip was  prompted to go and tell the good news about Jesus (Acts 8:35) and we can to.

3-16- God designed us with purpose and plan. He gives each of us different gifts and resources to share the Good News.  Peter wrote letters. 1 Peter; 2 Peter; God inspired some people write God’s words in the Bible. The Word of God, the Bible, lasts forever. 1 Peter 1:25. Thank God for the miraculous gift of His divine Word. Ask Him to give you fresh eyes as you spend time in His living Word (Hebrews 4:12).

3-23- Did you read something meant for someone else? Were you embarrassed or felt like you did something wrong. Paul wrote to Philemon. Read the book of Philemon. The Bible helps people know what to do in every day events.  All that the Bible says is from God. 2 Timothy 3:16. The Bible tells us about the Fruits of the Spirit. Galatians 1:1-9; 5:13-26; 6:1-10.

3-30- Do you ever say “no matter how hard I try I cannot seem to win? 1 step forward = 2 step back. Do not give up, sulk or feel sorry for yourself. The Holy Spirit is our comforter. Paul was beaten, put in prison, shipwrecked, hope could have seemed lost. Paul went to Rome with his eye to the prize. God was still in control. Acts 27–28; The Bible tells what happened to people who loved God and Jesus. We need to trust God’s direction and Word in our daily living. All God’s words are true. Psalm 119:160
